Step 2: Unzip the downloaded firmware file to get the A810FXXU1APL1 tar.md5 file (Do not further extract).

Step 3: Boot your device into Recovery Mode and perform a factory data reset to attain a clean installation.

Step 4: Launch Odin3.exe.

Step 5: Connect your Galaxy A8 2016 to the PC using its USB data cable and power it OFF to boot into Download Mode.

Step 11: The Galaxy A8 2016 will take about 5 minutes to boot for the first time after installation. So please be patient.
