Steps To Root Galaxy J7 SM-J700M Running on Android 5.1.1:
Step No 1: – First Download CF-Auto-Root package (CF-Auto-Root-j7elte-j7elteub-smj700m.zip) and Odin tool for your Galaxy J7 SM-J700M on the desktop of your PC.
Step No 2: Extract the CF-Auto-Root files on the desktop. Once the archive is extracted, you’ll see these files:
Step No 3: – Turn OFF the Galaxy J7 SM-J700M to boot into Download Mode.
Step No 4: – Now turn ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power keys at the same time for a few seconds to enter into Download Mode.
Step No 5: – While your phone is in the Download mode and shows a Warning Yellow Triangle Sign, then press the Volume Up key to continue.
Step No 6: – Run Odin3 that you have already downloaded (Step No 2) and you can find it in the extracted files on your computer.
Step No 7: – Connect your device with PC using its USB data cable.
Step No 8: – Once the Galaxy J7 SM-J700M is connected to the computer successfully, “Added” message will be displayed on Odin automatically after the device is recognized.
Step No 9: – Click on the AP button in Odin and select the CF-Auto-Root.tar file
Step No 10: – Next, click on the Start button in Odin to initiate the Flashing process.
Step No 11: – This flashing process might take 30-50 seconds to finish the rooting process on your Galaxy J7 SM-J700M. After the rooting process is completed, a Green Box with Pass text will appear in Odin, and your device will reboot automatically.
