These are the instructions on how to root LG G5 H850 on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. There are two ways available to get root over access over your Android phone. One is to find out one-click rooting tools available for your device and your current software and the other way is by installing a custom recovery that supports the installation of SuperSU. Enable USB debugging mode on your Smartphone by navigating to Settings > Developer options and tap on USB debugging check box.

Data Backup: Take a full backup of all your important data and settings like contacts, pictures, videos, music before proceeding to the rooting instructions.

Make sure that the battery level of your LG G5 H850 should be at least about 60-70 charged to avoid unexpected shutdowns during the rooting process.

Steps To Root LG G5 H850 On Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow:

Step No 1:- First, download the latest version of SuperSU (version 2.74) from this link on the desktop of your PC.

Step No 2:- Now plug your LG G5 H850 smartphone to the PC using its USB data cable.

Step No 3:- Transfer the downloaded SuperSU 2.74 .zip file to the root folder of your internal storage SD card.

Step No 4:- Unplug your phone from the PC, once the file is copied.

Step No 5:- Power OFF the LG G5 H850 and power it ON while pressing and holding the hardware key combination for the stock recovery mode and the custom recovery you installed earlier will boot up on the display.

Step No 6:- Navigate to the main recovery menu and tap on the Install button. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the SuperSU from your internal storage.

Step No 7:- Choose the option to reboot the system from the main recovery menu.
