Step No 1:- Download the Dirty Unicorn 6.0.1 (DU_tilapia_6.0.1_20160515-0719.v10.2-DIRTY-DEEDS.zip) custom firmware on the desktop of your PC for Nexus 7 from the above link. Do not unzip the firmware zipped file.
Step No 2:- Plug the phone to the PC via its USB data cable.
Step No 3:- Transfer the Dirty Unicorn custom ROM .zip file to the root folder on SD card of your phone.
Step No 4:- After transferring ROM file, unplug the USB cord and turn it OFF to boot into Bootloader Mode.
Step No 5:- Turn ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Up + Volume Down buttons at the same time. Select BOOTLOADER and then go to RECOVERY
Step No 6:- While your Nexus 7 is in Recovery Mode, perform wipe data tasks by navigating to the main menu of recovery and choose to wipe data/factory reset and confirm the process.
