Download and install Samsung Galaxy Note 4 USB Driver on your PC.
Enable USB debugging mode on your Smartphone by navigating to Settings > Developer options and tap on USB debugging check box.
Data Backup: Take a full backup of all your important data and settings like contacts, pictures, videos, music before proceeding to the rooting instructions.

Step No 1:- First, download the custom kernel from this link on the desktop of your PC but do not extract it.
Step No 2:- Also, download the latest SuperSU file from here and keep on your desktop without extracting.
Step No 3:- Plug your Note 4 to the PC using its USB data cable.
Step No 4:- Copy/paste both of the .zip files to the root folder of your SD card on the phone and disconnect the phone once the files are transferred.
Step No 5:- Power OFF the Note 4 in order to enter into Recovery Mode.
Step No 6:- Press and hold Power + Volume up + Home keys at the same time, for a few seconds. Recovery mode menu will be eventually displayed.
Step No 7:- While your Galaxy Note 4 is in Recovery Mode, select “Install” and then pick the custom kernel file that you have already copied to the root folder of your SD card.
Step No 8:- Also, select the SuperSU package.
Step No 9:- Proceed to the flashing process and reboot into Android OS once the process is completed.
